Dayak's yearly Ceremony Sampit, Central of Kalimantan
Mampakanan Sahur & Mamapas Lewu, Dayak’s Heritage Ceremony in Hindu Kaharingan November, 08 – 10 2011
Mampakanan Sahur ceremony is a Hindu's Kaharingan cultural heritage to give or offering foods to the supernatural spirit of GOD. Essentially Dayak's tribal customs of Heritage. The ceremony is held every year with defferent procedures such as “ Mamapas Lewu “, “ Menyanggar Lewu “, and many more ceremonies. Mamaps Lewu is a describe of community life since the Dayak triber ancestors,peace living,open,sociable and estlabish unity and intergrity ( Philosophy Betang House ).
This celebrations aims to clean up of the universe from a variety of conflict,the dangers,epidemics of disease to create an atmosphere of heat into cold,hot into cool. This ceremony also corporate prayers offered to GOD the almighty one to the creation of eternal life on the earth, protected from all calamities,conflicts,jealousy and enemy. Creates balance of human and natural environment to sustainable ecosystem in this life
Day. 01 Airport – Transfer in (L, D)

Flash of Sampit Kalimantan Tengah
Sampit as Kotawaringin Capital East is one of the most important cities in the province of Central Kalimantan. In addition because it is economically a relatively advanced districts as well as located in a strategic position.
Viewed from a regional map of Central Kalimantan, the city of Sampit previously located in the middle and this causes a very strategic position. On May 1, 1859 the Dutch Government to open ports in Sampit.
The first version states that the first open area Sampit first region is the one who named Sampit from Bati-Bati, South Kalimantan, around the beginning of the 1700s. According to other sources, said Sampit derived from the Chinese meaning "to 31" (sam = 3, it = 1).
